Vincent Kartheiser, an American actor is known for his excellent performance on innumerous TV shows and movies etc. During 1990s, he starred in several movies such as ‘The Indian in the Cupboard’, ‘Alaska’ and ‘Masterminds’ etc. All above mentioned roles were as a child actor and he later moved on to more mature roles in independent films.
Vincent Kartheiser took birth in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Janet Marie and James Ralph Kartheiser. He has five siblings, four sisters, Andrea, Colette, Elise and Theresa, and a brother, Nathan. Kartheiser joined University of California, Los Angeles and graduated with a degree in history.
Kartheiser’s next appearance was as Bobby, a drug-addled, homeless street urchin in ‘Another Day in Paradise’. He next appeared in Strike! In 2002, Kartheiser landed a regular role on the supernatural drama series Angel, playing Connor, the son of two vampires, Darla and Angel.
Kartheiser was also a part of the very well received coming-of-age drama ‘Dandelion’ and it was shown at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival. In 2007, he joined AMC drama ‘Mad Men’ playing the role of an ambitious young ad man Pete Campbell. In 2008, he was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series along with the rest of the star cast.
