Actor Jon Hamm might be exceptional in the shoes of advertising executive Donald Draper on the Mad Men episodes……but he’s not the right guy to play the role of Superman in Christopher Nolan’s reboot.

The star himself came out with the revelation that he’s too old for playing the world’s most popular comic character.

In a recent interview, the 39-year-old actor said, “I may be aged out of that competition.”

I guess that puts an end to all the speculations!

This is not the first time that the hunk has expressed his unwillingness to play Superman.

Previously, in another interview, he backed out from playing the role, citing the lack of the drama element in it.

I feel he’s too obsessed with Donald Draper!

Hamm’s recent comment sounds a bit sarcastic, because some comic book fans took on him for being too aged to get into the shoes of the Man of Steel.

According to me, he’s absolutely fine for playing any comic book superhero.

I guess, like me, most of his fans will be hoping to see him joining the league of stars, like Christopher Reeves and George Clooney, who played Superman and Batman, respectively.

No doubt, the Mad Men series has been an exceptional TV show, but the aura of appearing as Superman on the big screen is something totally different!!

I feel the star would definitely alter his decision and we’ll get to see him in the red and blue tights.

Talking about his stint on the award winning TV show, it could be said that only Jon Hamm is could play Donald Draper. I mean, there is no other actor who could bring so much drama and intensity to a character like Donald!
